Fika Futi Safari Camp offers an immersive and rustic safari experience at one of the most unique locations in Botswana – close to the historically significant Tuli Circle where the borders of Botswana and Zimbabwe meet. This self-catering Camp is situated next to a waterhole on a small tributary which flows into the Matabole River, with open views across this wild, diverse and unfenced bushveld.

Fika Futi is perfect for adventurous travellers seeking meaningful connection with nature, privacy, and panoramic wilderness. As it is self-catered, guests have the freedom to plan their own meals utilising the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor braai/boma utensils. The camp is solar-powered and eco-conscious, with open-plan living spaces, a swimming pool, look-out deck overlooking the waterhole, and an outdoor boma braai area – ideal for evenings under the stars.

A traditional farmhouse by design, Fika Futi has been renovated to immerse you in the simplicity and beauty of the African bush. Game drives from Fika Futi traverse an area more than 10 000 ha within the unfenced Northern Tuli Game Reserve, adjacent to the core area of Mashatu, exploring the upper regions of both the Majale and Matabole Rivers.

“Fika” typically means “arrive,” “to come,” or “reach”; and “Futi” usually means “again” or “also.” In everyday context, “Fika Futi”, is used to indicate someone coming back to a place or returning. With unfenced boarders that enable natural wildlife corridors, you will see wildlife roaming freely in this historic and remote region of Mashatu Game Reserve; home to WalkMashatu, offering popular tailormade walking safaris.
