Shedding Some Light

Mashatu is known for its breath taking sunrises and sunsets, the secret ingredient being a horizon with zero concrete interruptions, dotted with the occasional silhouette of a giraffe or shepherd tree. If that is not enough to make your ‘G and T’ go down even smoother, you then add a little Mashatu dust to the atmosphere and the sky is now painted in hues of orange, pinks, reds and purples.

These hours that start and end our days in the bush are what keep bringing people coming back for more. Any photographer will agree that due to the spectacular light show this reserve puts on twice daily combine with the open plains in which the wildlife roam makes for a photographic Mecca. Light being essential to photographs and creating mood, and the open uninterrupted landscapes exposing the wildlife to the nature lover perfectly.
