Let’s get to know our Mashatu Lodge manager Ben.

Tell us a bit about yourself

I am a humble giant and larger than life. I am a first born, and older brother to 2 lovely sisters. I am also father to Cass, my “Mini Me”, and his younger sister Abbie, also known as “Daddy’s little monkey”.

What does a typical day at Mashatu look like for you?

Ensuring all guest’s expectations are exceeded, and when I hear I have achieved this, it is music to my ears. I drive and lead a well oiled machine that is our Mashatu Lodge Family. Happy staff, happy guests!

Working with such an amazing hard working team – I am humbled!

Male lion – yes I am a LEO!

The white-browed robin-chat I fell in love with its call during my early days working in the industry.
