I dreamed in 1979 that I would bring my children (4) their spouses (3) and my grandchildren (8) here to Mashatu. The Dream was realized for my 70th birthday celebration in September 2012!!! A truly wonderful 4 days/ night. My deepest thanks to Bobson, Bashi, Edward, Eric, Albert and the entire team. A bonus that David was here simultaneously!!! God Bless and Renewed thanks to everyone. If we would to rate the complete accommodation on a scale from 0-10, we would give the whole Mashatu camp a 10 especially because of the friendless of the staff.

Bashi and Aron are the asset to your company. They make you laugh every day and nothing is ever too much trouble. Abel in the bar is wasted talent, he is fantastic. He should be working in the film industry. The food is always spectacular – that chef Henake is also fabulous. I have become friends with a few staff and will return to Mashatu just to see them in the future. Bobson, Caroline and all the staff are truly professional and I will miss them dearly.

Very best in this place the staff!!! To explain in short. On one game tour my friend said: soon will be back home. Not back in the camp. But “back home” – that’s the feeling the people here gave to us. Back to Germany, when I hear that someone will go to South Africa I will recommend him/her to visit Mashatu

This place was absolutely amazing. This was my first time at the game reserve. And I will definitely be returning in a couple of years. My family is pretty big, so get ready for us. Dan (the one who has been there 23 years) was an amazing driver, and Gomes was a great assistant. They both pointed out so many animals and trees .We learned so much from them. Every single meal was delicious. The Main Camp and the Tent Camp were both fabulous.

The game sightings have been magnificent, the guides and staff have been unbelievable, professional and friendly. The food has been great and the boma experience fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The staff are friendly, customer relations are excellent. Ona, our tracker, was very good. Richard, our driver did an excellent job, going of his way to meet our photographic friends, and the whole time sharing his knowledge with us. The food & catering surpassed our expectations, with Margaret, Janfit, Kelly and Kabelo, with his good sense of humour attending to all our needs. Grace gave us a warm welcome with Kongo who managed everything in an easy style, and sharing with us a few good jokes & really nice in-depth conversations helping us to learn more of this beautiful country and its people.

Everything was superb. The service was spectacular. The food was delicious. Justice was the best driver/ranger we could ever have. I am so glad we stayed at the Tent Camp at Mashatu. I feel like we had personalized service just for our group. Everyone was so nice and tried to please us. The food was great, as was the wine. The accommodations were plush. And the hot water bottles were an extra surprise! We will recommend the Mashatu Tent Camp to all our friends in Georgia USA.
