“Fish – always punctual and ready to spot and track animals – very careful drives. Each and every day was over the top. If there was an animal there, even in the dark he could find it. Edward worked very hard between spotting, keeping watch for low limbs – excellent! Both would be hard to surpass, friendly and with a sense of humour and both made us feel safe. Your reserve is pure luxury and we saw so much here. Surpassed all my expectations. Food – excellent!! All staff so friendly … loved Cecelia!”

“The staff went beyond their duties to provide all of us the happiest and most exciting time. The food was better than any restaurant in NYC. Because I don’t eat meat, the girls recognized this (I never said anything) and I had something special (vegetarian) every meal! Our ranger/ tracker were top notch – helpful beyond what is expected. I’m coming back as soon as possible and telling all my friends how wonderful Mashatu is. My room was gorgeous and always so clean.”

“Fish is just amazing with his knowledge of animals’ behavior and the roads. He knows which road goes where. We requested a trip to the village and it was a great afternoon experience including tea at a big rock formation. Gaone planned a wonderful time for us. All the staff at main camp were helpful and friendly. I saw a TV show about Mashatu a few years ago and always wanted to come. It did not disappoint. A very big thank to Fish, Gaone and all of the staff.”

Mashatu was stunning, one of the best reserves we have ever visited. We had great sightings: 5xLeopard, 3xlion,also with cubs, cheetah feeding, bee-eaters with insects and in flight etc.
I met Mike and had a good chat with him, will use his services and hides on future trips.

Dicks is a fantastic representative for your company. Excellent guide, professional and lots of fun to be with! Gnome is an excellent spotter and so polite. Your entire staff made us feel welcomed. Mashatu lodge is a five star experience but it’s more personal than some other private game reserve lodges in the same class! The representatives who picked us up at the airport were very professional too.
